Freedom does not exist. I would like to discuss the question of why freedom is not exists .
Freedom does not exist if a person lives in a certain environment, in relation to which we consider the presence of this freedom in him. I'm talking about both the social environment and the biological environment. If we mean the freedom of a person in these environments, then a person cannot be free from them, since he directly interacts with them, being a part of them.
But a person can change the environment itself, making it worse or better within the framework of his idea of good and bad, which, again, is formed only within these environments. And, one wonders, is it appropriate to use the word “freedom” in this case at all? If a person lives in a certain system, then he operates with the categories of the same system, because he interacts only with it. If we talk about the existing freedom of a person, then it can only be when he is outside this system, in relation to which we are talking about the freedom of this person.
Biological environment example
A person does not control the physiological processes occurring in his body. He can set himself up emotionally, which in the end can have a positive or negative effect on the physiological state. But, the very idea that a person is free from the physiological state itself is false, because a person is a biological organism living in a biological environment, since he is also a social element, then the social environment too.
A person may or may not consciously accept a social ideology, but this does not mean that he has ceased to be part of this social environment. He has not ceased to depend on interaction with other people, even if we are talking about factors on which his survival does not directly depend, since the views of this person are formed in the same environment. Freedom is possible only outside the system. As can be understood from the above reflections, freedom is possible only outside the system, but then what is the point in talking about a certain system, being outside of it?
Addendum 07/06/2021
The concept of freedom is not appropriate.
The concept of freedom is not appropriate, because if we consider this concept in relation to the environment, then a person, again, if he lives in this environment, he is not separated from it, and one way or another, accepts its rules. When we talk about the position of a person in relation to this environment, we can rely only on understanding the degree of influence of this environment on him. Although the term influence is not entirely appropriate, because, again, a person is part of this environment.
We can talk about the degree of influence of the environment only through its declared attitude towards it. But the real influence is due to organic: physiological and social processes, but not his attitude, no matter how reasonable it may be.
